MCG Meetings:
We hold a monthly meeting every third Thursday at the Washington Elementary Library. Meetings start at 6pm. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend! Attending the meetings is one way to stay involved with the happenings in your student's education.

Saturday Serendipity is an event sponsored by the Moline Council for the Gifted.  Classes are intended for high-ability students (from the PATS program or as identified by elementary teachers grades 1-6) and are usually held in March.  Some of the courses include creative writing, physical sciences, theatre, creative arts, computers, and much more.

 

Parents who are members of Moline Council for the Gifted (MCG) receive advanced notice of course information. 

 

Registration is limited for Saturday Serendipity and classes fill quickly.
